Sharjah Warriorz Edge Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in Final-Ball Thriller to Boost Playoff Hopes

Sharjah Warriorz clinched a dramatic four-wicket win over Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in a final-ball thriller at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, strengthening their push for DP World ILT20 Season 4 playoffs.

Taskin Ahmed and Wasim Akram sparked an early collapse as ADKR slipped to 10/4 before Sherfane Rutherford’s fighting 44 helped them reach 134/9, with Adil Rashid starring with three wickets. In reply, James Rew’s unbeaten 42 and Sikandar Raza’s steady 28 anchored the chase despite Sunil Narine’s pressure and crucial strikes from Ajay Kumar and Jason Holder. Rew held his nerve in the tense final over as Warriorz sealed victory.
