Punjab FC Beat Odisha FC 3-2 To Keep ISL 2025-26 Title Hopes Alive
Punjab FC kept their ISL 2025-26 title hopes alive with a dramatic 3-2 win over Odisha FC at the PJN Stadium in Margao.
After a goalless first half, substitute Manglenthang Kipgen broke the deadlock in the 69th minute with a long-range strike. Odisha responded quickly through Suhair VP, but Punjab regained control late in the game. Bede Osuji scored in the 89th minute after a clever flick from Effiong Nsungusi Jr., before Dani Ramírez added a stoppage-time goal to seal the victory. Kartik Hantal scored late for Odisha, but Punjab held on for all three points.
The win lifted Punjab FC to fourth place with 22 points, level with East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant.
