Punjab FC Stage Comeback to Beat Mohammedan SC 2-1

Punjab FC produced a strong second-half comeback to defeat Mohammedan Sporting Club 2-1 in the Indian Super League 2025-26. After trailing at halftime due to Lalremsanga Fanai’s goal, Punjab turned the game around within minutes of the restart.

Nsungusi Jr equalised in the 47th minute before skipper Dani Ramírez netted the winner five minutes later. Ramírez, who was named Player of the Match, played a crucial role in the turnaround. Despite late pressure from Mohammedan SC, Punjab held firm to secure all three points.

The win lifts Punjab FC to fifth place with 11 points, while Mohammedan SC remain at the bottom without a point.
