Prakadeswaran scores first senior goal as Chennaiyin FC fall to Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC delivered a dominant performance to register a 4-1 victory over Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

It was a tough outing for Chennaiyin FC, but academy graduate S Prakadeswaran provided a rare bright spark by scoring his first senior goal for the club.

The 19-year-old showed great composure in the 70th minute, controlling the ball brilliantly before turning and curling his finish into the top corner. Earlier, Mohammed Sanan had opened the scoring for Jamshedpur, while Messi Bouli doubled the hosts’ advantage.

Chennaiyin FC kept pushing for a way back into the contest, but Jamshedpur struck twice late in the game to put the result beyond doubt and cap off a commanding display.
