Shreyas Iyer Praises Prabhsimran Singh After PBKS Beat MI | IPL 2026
Punjab Kings produced a dominant chase to defeat Mumbai Indians by seven wickets in IPL 2026 at Wankhede Stadium. Prabhsimran Singh (80*) and Shreyas Iyer (66) stitched a match-winning 139-run stand, guiding PBKS to 198/3 in just 16.3 overs while chasing 196.
Earlier, Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 112 and Naman Dhir’s 50 powered MI to 195/6 after a shaky start. However, dropped catches and lack of bowling discipline cost the hosts dearly. Iyer registered his third consecutive fifty, while Prabhsimran continued his fine form with a second successive half-century.
The win lifts Punjab Kings to the top of the points table, while Mumbai Indians slump further down.
