RCB captain Rajat Patidar praised his team’s all-round effort after their six-wicket win over SRH in the IPL 2026 opener. He highlighted contributions from both batters and bowlers, calling it a positive start to the campaign.

Patidar lauded debutant Jacob Duffy’s impressive spell, terming his early wickets as the turning point. He also credited Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal for laying a strong foundation in the chase. Meanwhile, SRH skipper Ishan Kishan admitted early wickets hurt their chances despite posting 201.

He acknowledged Kohli’s match-winning presence while stressing the need for smarter shot selection moving forward as the tournament progresses for his side.
