Jelena Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo staged a superb comeback to win the Wimbledon 2026 mixed doubles title, defeating Australia’s Storm Hunter and Marc Polmans 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the final.
Trailing by a set and a break, the Latvian-El Salvadoran pair fought back brilliantly to claim victory in one hour and 56 minutes. The triumph gave Ostapenko her first Wimbledon title and completed her Grand Slam collection across singles, doubles and mixed doubles. For Arevalo, it marked a historic milestone as he became the first player from El Salvador to win a Wimbledon title and his third Grand Slam crown overall.
