Michael Bracewell (47) and Nathan Smith (23) built a crucial 52-run stand, but both fell before the close. Zak Foulkes and Jacob Duffy ended the day on four each when bad light stopped play after 70 overs.

Debutant Ojay Shields impressed with 2/34, while Greaves (2/35) and Kemar Roach (2/47) kept West Indies on top.
