Novak Djokovic Withdraws From Madrid Open Due To Injury Concerns

Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Madrid Open due to injury, citing the need for recovery. The 24-time Grand Slam champion confirmed the news on social media, stating he is not fully fit.

Djokovic has been sidelined for a month, last playing at Indian Wells where he lost to Jack Draper. He earlier finished runner-up at the Australian Open this year.

The Serbian also missed the Monte Carlo Masters, where Jannik Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz to win the title. Djokovic now targets a return at the Italian Open, subject to fitness.
