Djokovic Reaches Historic 400 Grand Slam Wins
Former World No.1 Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from next week’s Adelaide International, citing he is not physically ready to compete.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion, who won the Adelaide title two years ago, said his focus is now on preparing for the Australian Open, where he has claimed ten titles. Djokovic also announced his complete departure from the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), which he co-founded with Vasek Pospisil, citing concerns over transparency and governance.
He reaffirmed his commitment to tennis, family, and the sport, stating that this chapter with the PTPA is now closed.
