Novak Djokovic Survives Five-Hour Epic to Reach Record 15th Wimbledon Semi-final
Novak Djokovic produced a clinical display to defeat Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 and advance to the third round of Wimbledon 2026.
The seven-time champion needed just 98 minutes to overcome the Greek star, extending his dominance with an 11th consecutive victory over Tsitsipas and improving their head-to-head record to 12-2. Djokovic raced through the opening set before breaking Tsitsipas late in the second to seize complete control of the contest. The Serbian maintained his aggressive approach in the third set to seal his 20th appearance in the Wimbledon third round.
Djokovic praised his rhythm and confidence, calling it one of his best returning performances in recent times.
