Devon Conway smashed a superb 227 as New Zealand declared their innings at 575/8 on day two of the third Test against the West Indies at Mount Maunganui.
Rachin Ravindra’s unbeaten 72 and Ajaz Patel’s quickfire 30* added valuable late runs before skipper Tom Latham called his players in. In reply, West Indies openers Brandon King (55) and John Campbell (45) put up a spirited fight, guiding their side to 110/0 at stumps, still trailing by 465 runs. Despite injuries and illness within the camp, the visitors showed resilience, while Jayden Seales and Justin Greaves picked up two wickets each earlier.
