Shepherd’s Final-Over Brilliance Seals MI Emirates’ Four-Run Win Over Sharjah Warriorz

MI Emirates clinched a thrilling four-run win over Sharjah Warriorz, thanks to Romario Shepherd’s brilliant final over and unbeaten 31 off just 10 balls.

Batting first, MI Emirates posted 185, with Muhammad Waseem (39), Jonny Bairstow (37) and Tom Banton (32) contributing, while Adil Rashid impressed with 3/32. Shepherd’s late hitting proved decisive.

In reply, Sharjah Warriorz rode on half-centuries from Sikander Raza (64) and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (51), who added 103 runs together. However, Allah Ghazanfar’s double strike and disciplined death bowling, especially from Shepherd, denied the Warriorz as MI Emirates secured their first win of the season.
