Goals from Mateo Chavez, Julian Quinones and Alvaro Fidalgo sealed Mexico’s third consecutive win in Group A and confirmed their status as one of the tournament’s form teams. Chavez opened the scoring before Quinones doubled the lead shortly after. The hosts remained in control throughout and wrapped up the win with a late strike from Fidalgo.
