Markram Century Keeps Durban Super Giants’ Playoff Hopes Alive

Aiden Markram struck a sensational 108 off 58 balls to keep Durban Super Giants’ SA20 playoff hopes alive with a commanding 58-run bonus-point win over Paarl Royals at Kingsmead.

With DSG under pressure at 53/3, Markram and Heinrich Klaasen revived the innings with an 81-run stand, lifting the hosts to 189/7. Markram punished Sikandar Raza and capitalised on a reprieve to register his second SA20 hundred.

DSG then dominated with the ball as Sunil Narine and Simon Harmer spun Royals into collapse, restricting them to 131/9.
