Lakshya Sen Beats Li Shi Feng To Reach All England 2026 Semi-Finals
India’s challenge at the India Open 2026 came to an early end as Lakshya Sen bowed out in the men’s singles quarterfinals in New Delhi.
The World No. 14 lost a hard-fought three-game match to Chinese Taipei’s Lin Chun-Yi, going down 21-17, 13-21, 18-21. Sen, the last remaining Indian in the tournament, started strongly but struggled to adapt to windy conditions as the match progressed.
Despite leveling the decider late, Lin’s aggressive finish sealed the contest, ending India’s hopes in the home BWF World Tour Super 750 event.
