IPL 2026: Rain Washes Out KKR vs PBKS Clash, Teams Share Points

The IPL 2026 clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at Eden Gardens was abandoned due to rain, with both teams sharing a point each.

The match was halted in the fourth over as heavy showers forced players off the field, and despite multiple inspections, conditions didn’t improve. Punjab Kings, who were on top after reducing KKR to 25/2, would be disappointed with the washout, while KKR escaped further trouble. Xavier Bartlett struck twice early to put Kolkata under pressure.

The result keeps PBKS at the top of the standings, while KKR slipped to eighth, missing a chance to recover in the game.
