Hazlewood credits Bhuvneshwar after RCB’s dominant win over DC
Josh Hazlewood credited Bhuvneshwar Kumar for setting the tone after their devastating spells powered Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a nine-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2026 on Monday.
Hazlewood, who returned figures of 4/12 and was named Player of the Match, said he simply followed Bhuvneshwar’s lead in exploiting the early movement on offer. Bhuvneshwar’s 3/5 helped RCB bowl DC out for just 75, the lowest total of the season.
The veteran pacer, who leads the Purple Cap race, said the swinging conditions this season have made life easier for bowlers upfront.
