Johan Manzambi’s Brace Fires Switzerland To 4-1 Win Over Bosnia At FIFA World Cup

Switzerland climbed to the top of Group B with a convincing 4-1 victory over 10-man Bosnia and Herzegovina in their second FIFA World Cup 2026 match at Los Angeles Stadium. Midfielder Johan Manzambi starred with two second-half goals, becoming the youngest Swiss player to score a World Cup brace at 20 years and 247 days.

Bosnia’s hopes suffered a major blow when Tarik Muharemovic was sent off for a professional foul on Breel Embolo. Although Ermin Mahmic pulled one back in stoppage time, Switzerland captain Granit Xhaka sealed the win with a late penalty to secure three valuable points.
