Jaismine, Nikhat Lead India to Record 15 Finals at World Boxing Cup 2025

India enjoyed its most dominant day at the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025, securing a record 15 finalists as World Champion Jaismine Lamboria (57kg) and former double World Champion Nikhat Zareen (51kg) stormed into the title bouts.

Jaismine outclassed Kazakhstan’s Ulzhan Sarsenbek 5:0 to set up a high-voltage final against Olympic medallist Wu Shih-Yi. Nikhat powered past Uzbekistan’s Ganieva Gulsevar, while Sachin Siwach and Hitesh Gulia also impressed. Pawan and Jadumani Singh added strong wins as India’s momentum surged. Despite narrow losses for Jugnoo, Neeraj Phogat and Sumit, India now heads into Thursday’s finals with unmatched strength and depth.
