India Crush Afghanistan by 9 Wickets, Complete 3-0 ODI Series Sweep

Prasidh Krishna claimed his maiden ODI five-wicket haul and Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed an unbeaten century as India National Cricket Team defeated Afghanistan National Cricket Team by nine wickets in the third ODI at Chennai.

Prasidh’s brilliant 5/23 restricted Afghanistan to 218 despite a fighting century from Hashmatullah Shahidi. Chasing 219, Jaiswal struck an unbeaten 110 off 86 balls, while Rohit Sharma contributed 79 in a dominant 170-run opening partnership.

India reached 224/1 in just 28.4 overs to complete a comprehensive 3-0 series sweep and hand captain Shubman Gill his first ODI series victory as skipper.
