India have suffered a major setback ahead of their three-match ODI series against England, with fast bowler Harshit Rana ruled out due to a Grade 1 right hamstring injury.
The BCCI confirmed that Rana will miss the series and report to the Centre of Excellence for further assessment and rehabilitation. Prince Yadav has been named as his replacement in the squad.
Rana had also missed the final two T20Is against England due to the injury. The ODI series begins on July 14 in Birmingham, with Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah returning to the Indian team.
