2026 Badminton Asia Team Championships
India has announced strong men’s and women’s squads for the 2026 Badminton Asia Team Championships in Qingdao, China, aiming for podium finishes. Defending women’s champions India will once again be led by PV Sindhu, supported by Tanvi Sharma, Unnati Hooda, Rakshita Sree, Malvika Bansod, and the doubles duo Treesa Jolly–Gayatri Gopichand. The men’s squad features Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy, Ayush Shetty, and Tharun Mannepalli, with Satwik-Chirag spearheading doubles.
Officials believe the blend of form and experience gives India a strong shot at medals in both categories.
