Christie, An Se Young Enter Finals at India Open 2026
Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie showcased composure and tactical brilliance to defeat former world champion Loh Kean Yew 21-18, 22-20 in the men’s singles semifinals of the Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2026 in New Delhi.
Christie recovered from early pressure in both games to extend his unbeaten record over Loh. In women’s singles, world No.1 An Se Young dominated former champion Ratchanok Intanon, while China’s Wang Zhi Yi edged past Chen Yu Fei to set up a blockbuster final.
Christie will now face the winner of the other men’s semifinal as the Super 750 event heads toward its climax.
