India posted 183/5 after Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma produced commanding half-centuries and shared a record 129-run opening partnership. The Indian bowlers then delivered a dominant performance to dismiss Sri Lanka for 111 in the chase. Shree Charani was the star with the ball, claiming four wickets, while Deepti Sharma added three. Kranti Gaud, Shafali Verma and Prema Rawat picked up one wicket each as India completed a comprehensive victory.

The triumph further underlined India’s dominance in the tournament, with the team now owning eight titles from nine final appearances.

India have also extended their head-to-head record against Sri Lanka to 26 wins in 31 matches.
