India Beat England in Shoot-Out Thriller to Boost Hockey World Cup Preparation

India’s Men’s Hockey Team secured a thrilling 3-2 shoot-out victory over England after a goalless draw in the FIH Hockey Pro League match at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London on Sunday.

Abhishek, Shilanand Lakra and Hardik Singh scored in the shoot-out for India, while defender Sanjay was named Player of the Match for his outstanding defensive display.

Goalkeepers Mohith Shashikumar and Suraj Karkera made crucial saves as India resisted England’s attacking pressure throughout the match. The win highlighted India’s defensive strength and provided a confidence boost ahead of the upcoming Hockey World Cup.
