ICC Charges West Indies Plyaer Javon Searles, Trevon Griffith And Chitranjan Rathod In Anti-Corruption Probe

The International Cricket Council has charged team officials Chitranjan Rathod and Trevon Griffith, along with West Indies player Javon Searles, for alleged breaches of the anti-corruption codes of Cricket West Indies and the ICC.

The charges relate to the 2023-24 Bim10 tournament, including alleged match-fixing, encouraging corrupt conduct and failing to cooperate with investigations. Griffith also faces an additional ICC code violation for allegedly obstructing an anti-corruption probe.

Rathod, who is the owner of the Titans team, faces three charges under the CWI Code, Searles faces four charges under the CWI Code, while team official Griffith faces four charges under the CWI Code and one charge under the ICC Code.

All three have been provisionally suspended from cricket and have 14 days from March 11, 2026 to respond to the allegations.
