Francisco Cerundolo captured his fourth ATP title with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Luciano Darderi in the final of the Argentina Open.
Playing at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club, the top seed dominated from the baseline and broke early in both sets to seal the win in one hour and 37 minutes. It marked his first triumph on home soil after previous final defeats.
Darderi, despite the loss, will rise to a career-high world No. 21 in the rankings.
