Farhan Shines As Pakistan Cruise To Seven-Wicket Win Over Sri Lanka

Pakistan registered their second win of the T20I Tri-Series as Sahibzada Farhan’s unbeaten 80 powered them to a seven-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Chasing 129, Farhan and Saim Ayub provided a rapid start with a 47-run opening stand before the hosts eased to 131/3 in 15.3 overs.

Farhan smashed six fours and five sixes, becoming the first Pakistan batter to hit 100 T20I sixes in a calendar year. Earlier, Mohammad Nawaz led a disciplined bowling effort with 3/16 as Sri Lanka were restricted to 128/7 despite Janith Liyanage’s fighting 41. Pakistan now face Zimbabwe, eyeing a place in the final.
