Fanny Utagushimaninde Becomes Youngest T20I Centurion With Brilliant Debut Century

Fanny Utagushimaninde scripted history by becoming the youngest centurion in women’s T20Is with a magnificent unbeaten 111 on debut for Rwanda women’s national cricket team. The 15-year-old achieved the feat against Ghana in Lagos, guiding her team to a massive total of 210/3.

Ghana women’s national cricket team were then restricted to just 88/8, handing Rwanda a dominant 122-run victory.

At 15 years and 223 days, she broke the previous record to become the youngest T20I centurion and also the first woman to score a hundred on debut, marking a historic moment in international cricket. She bettered the record of Uganda’s Prosscovia Alako, who scored 116 when she was 16 years and 233 days old.
