England Hold Nerve to Edge Nepal in T20 World Cup Thriller
England held their nerve in a dramatic last-ball finish to defeat Nepal by four runs in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 opener at the Wankhede Stadium.
Chasing 185, Nepal came agonisingly close through strong partnerships led by Rohit Paudel and Dipendra Singh Airee, followed by a late assault from Lokesh Ram. Sam Curran defended 10 runs in the final over to seal the win.
