Harry Kane Brace Powers England to Thrilling 4-2 Win Over Croatia

Harry Kane scored twice as England began their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign with an exciting 4-2 victory over Croatia in Group L.

Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Croatia hit back through Martin Baturina. Kane restored England’s lead with a header, but Petar Musa equalised again before halftime. England dominated the second half as Jude Bellingham fired home shortly after the restart.

Substitute Marcus Rashford sealed the win late on with a composed finish. Kane also set a World Cup record with his fifth successful penalty goal in tournament history.
