Ollie Robinson produced another outstanding bowling performance as England defeated Pakistan by 194 runs in the second Test at Lord’s on Sunday to seal the three-match series 2-0.
Chasing 389, Pakistan were bowled out for 194 despite a fighting 97 from Saud Shakeel. Robinson claimed 4-24 in the second innings after taking 4-11 in Pakistan’s first innings, finishing with eight wickets in the match. Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue also played key roles, taking three and two wickets respectively. Earlier, Mohammad Abbas claimed 5-57 for Pakistan as England were dismissed for 208.
The victory gives England their first multi-match Test series win since their 2-1 triumph in New Zealand more than a year ago. Pakistan now face a must-win third Test.
