IPL 2026: Jamie Overton’s 4-Fer Powers CSK to First IPL 2026 Win Over Delhi Capitals

Chennai Super Kings secured their first win of IPL 2026 with a 23-run victory over Delhi Capitals, powered by a brilliant spell from Jamie Overton (4/18).

Defending 213, CSK struck at crucial moments after a flying start from Pathum Nissanka (41) and KL Rahul. Tristan Stubbs fought hard with 60, but lacked support as wickets fell regularly. Anshul Kamboj (3/35) and debutant Gurjapneet Singh also impressed.

Earlier, Sanju Samson smashed an unbeaten 115 to power CSK to 212/2. DC were eventually bowled out for 189, handing CSK a much-needed win at Chepauk.
