Cristiano Ronaldo Buys 25% Stake in UD Almeria
Portugal icon Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased a 25% stake in UD Almeria, currently competing in Spain’s Segunda Division.
The investment, made via CR7 Sports, forms part of the ownership consortium led by SMC Group. Ronaldo said he aims to contribute to football beyond his playing career and believes Almeria has strong growth potential. Club president Mohammed Al Khereiji welcomed the move, praising Ronaldo’s understanding of Spanish football.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo continues to shine for Al Nassr, recently becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer and remaining under contract until 2027.
