Conway, Latham Smash 323-Run Opening Stand vs West Indies in 3rd Test
Devon Conway and Tom Latham dismantled a toothless West Indies attack with a mammoth 323-run opening stand on day one of the third Test at Mount Maunganui, powering New Zealand to 334/1.
Conway remained unbeaten on 178, while captain Latham fell late for 137. Their partnership was New Zealand’s second-highest opening stand and only the eighth 300-plus Test stand for the hosts. Conway struck his sixth Test century, hitting 25 fours, while Latham’s 15th ton included 15 boundaries and a six. Kemar Roach claimed the lone wicket as New Zealand took firm control.
