Cooper Connolly smashed a quickfire 47 off 27 balls as Australia defeated Bangladesh by four wickets in the opening T20I to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Chasing 132, Australia recovered from early setbacks through Connolly’s aggressive knock, which included four boundaries and three sixes.
