Sabalenka Storms into Brisbane Semifinals with Straight-Sets Win

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the semifinals of the Brisbane International after defeating world No.5 Madison Keys 6–3, 6–3 in a rematch of the 2025 Australian Open final.

Sabalenka extended her Brisbane winning streak to eight matches and has now won 36 of her last 38 matches in Australia. Exploiting Keys’ serving inconsistencies, including multiple double faults, Sabalenka took control at crucial moments.

The Belarusian dominated the second set with relentless pressure to seal victory. A two-time Brisbane champion, Sabalenka next faces world No.20 Karolina Muchova, who holds a 3–1 head-to-head edge after upsetting Elena Rybakina.
