Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas delivered a sensational performance, scoring his maiden ODI half-century and taking a career-best six wickets in an 87-run victory over England in the tri-series in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Minhas scored 59 off 58 balls, while Hasan Nawaz contributed 79 from 74 deliveries to help Pakistan post 302/9. The pair rescued Pakistan from 133/5, sharing a 78-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Minhas later added 72 runs with Faheem Ashraf, who scored 39, as Pakistan collected 91 runs in the final 10 overs.
England appeared well placed at 120/1, with Tom Banton scoring 57 and Ben Duckett making 45. However, they collapsed to 215 all out in 38.4 overs, losing their final nine wickets for 95 runs.
Minhas finished with remarkable figures of 6/40, dismissing key batters including Banton, Harry Brook and Jordan Cox before completing his second ODI five-wicket haul.
