Rahane Calls KKR Loss ‘Tough to Take’ After LSG Thriller
KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane termed their three-wicket loss to Lucknow Super Giants a “tough one to take” after another close finish at Eden Gardens in IPL 2026.
Defending 181/4, KKR looked in control before Mukul Choudhary’s stunning unbeaten 54 turned the match in LSG’s favour. Rahane praised Mukul’s defining knock, admitting his aggressive approach in the final overs made the difference. He felt the total was competitive on a slow pitch but conceded execution slipped at crucial moments. Despite the defeat, Rahane expressed pride in his team’s effort.
The loss leaves KKR winless this season ahead of their clash against Chennai Super Kings.
