Ajinkya Rahane KKR batting issues
Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane admitted his side’s lack of batting momentum continues to hurt them after a 32-run loss to Chennai Super Kings.
Rahane praised the bowling unit for pulling things back after conceding heavily in the Power-play, restricting CSK to 190. However, he highlighted KKR’s slow start with the bat, managing just 36 in the Power-play, which proved costly. He stressed the need for a batter to anchor the innings and finish games. Rahane also lauded young pacer Kartik Tyagi for his impressive progress.
Despite the slump, he urged the team to stay positive and reassess combinations moving forward.
