USA Cricketer Aaron Jones Charged in Anti-Corruption Case
USA batter Aaron Jones has been provisionally suspended after being charged with five breaches of the ICC and Cricket West Indies anti-corruption codes.
The allegations relate to matches in the Bim10 League in 2023/24 and international fixtures, including failure to report corrupt approaches and non-cooperation with investigations. Jones has 14 days from January 28, 2026, to respond to the charges. The 30-year-old, who has represented the USA in 52 ODIs and 48 T20Is, is currently part of the team’s T20 World Cup preparatory camp in Sri Lanka.
The ICC confirmed the investigation may lead to further charges against others.
