Shafali Verma Stars As India Beat Bangladesh To Boost Women’s T20 World Cup Semi-Final Hopes

India strengthened their Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final hopes with a five-wicket victory over Bangladesh in Manchester. Chasing 137, Shafali Verma smashed 53 off 34 balls as India reached the target in under 17 overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh posted 136-8, with Radha Yadav claiming 3-28 and Shree Charani taking 2-21. The win moved India level with South Africa on six points in Group A, setting up a thrilling race for the second semi-final spot behind Australia.

Meanwhile, South Africa crushed the Netherlands by 88 runs after Tazmin Brits’ unbeaten 114 powered her side to a dominant victory.
