Manav Suthar Wants to Learn From Ravindra Jadeja After Galle Debut
India debutant Manav Suthar said he wants to learn from experienced spinner Ravindra Jadeja after taking four wickets against Sri Lanka in the first Test at Galle.
Suthar claimed 4-76 in 21.4 overs as India bowled Sri Lanka out for 284 and secured a 178-run first-innings lead. Jadeja took 3-67 and reached the milestone of 350 Test wickets as the left-arm spin duo shared seven wickets. Suthar praised Jadeja’s consistency and stump-to-stump bowling, highlighting his ability to use the bowling crease effectively. The youngster also studied Sri Lanka’s spinners and noted the importance of varying pace and maintaining consistency on the Galle surface.
Suthar, who was playing his first Test, said taking a wicket with his opening delivery gave him significant confidence.
