India Earn USD 2.63 Million After Winning T20 World Cup 2026
India clinched a record third ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title after defeating New Zealand by 96 runs in the 2026 final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Sanju Samson led the charge with a blistering 89 off 46 balls, while Abhishek Sharma (52) and Ishan Kishan (54) powered India to a massive 255/5, the highest total in a T20 World Cup final. In reply, New Zealand were bowled out for 159 in 19 overs despite Tim Seifert’s fighting 52. Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball, claiming 4-15, while Axar Patel picked 3-27.
The victory also made India the first team to defend the T20 World Cup title and the first to win the tournament three times.
