India Lose 2-3 to Netherlands in FIH Pro League Despite Goals from Dilpreet and Sukhjeet

India suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat against the Netherlands in their FIH Pro League clash at Hockey Club Rotterdam.

The hosts took an early lead through Miles Bukkens before Dilpreet Singh equalised for India in the 10th minute after a brilliant pass from Harmanpreet Singh. Koen Bijen restored the Dutch advantage before halftime. India responded strongly in the third quarter, with Sukhjeet Singh converting a well-worked penalty-corner routine to level the scores at 2-2. However, Tijmen Reyenga’s powerful strike from a penalty-corner variation proved decisive as the Netherlands regained the lead.

Despite a spirited effort and several counterattacking opportunities, India could not find another equaliser and eventually lost 3-2 in a closely fought encounter.
