After slipping to 48/4, captain Nigar Sultana scored 36 while Shorna Akter remained unbeaten on 39 to lift Bangladesh to 123/6. Pakistan looked comfortable at 58/1 in the chase before Bangladesh’s spinners turned the match around. Left-arm spinners Sanjida Akter Meghla (3/21) and Nahida Akter (3/18) triggered a dramatic collapse as Pakistan finished on 100/8.
The victory moved Bangladesh to four points and strengthened their semifinal hopes.
